Having an overall vision, dictated by our experiences, we are convinced that in the coming years we will witness substantial changes that will affect the Diamond.
New technologies are pervading every aspect of our society and ignoring them would be a shortsighted act, purely ideological, or to try to safeguard a specific interest.
It is no coincidence that we hoped for a collaboration with GCal by Sarine Technology, which without the possibility of contradiction can be defined as Pioneers in the use of AI applied to Diamonds. With a thirty-year history in the sector of research and development of technologies, it has developed a unique concept for detecting the characteristics of diamonds, proposing an innovative and easily understandable point of view.
This occurs through highly sophisticated technological devices, managed by algorithms, based on the 4C Standards to which we have referred.
This system allows the technical and optical characteristics of each Gem to be determined with absolute homogeneity, eliminating the risk of a potential “error” to which the human eye can be subject.
Furthermore, they were able to devise a very interesting system to guarantee the traceability of every single Diamond, from the mine of origin to the showcase where it will be sold.
DIAMOND JOURNEY™ traceability
According to us , traceability will be the new frontier for Natural Diamond which has always had to demonstrate that it has not been subject to exploitation and/or less than transparent actions. This aspect is only the best known, as a potentially negative phenomenon linked to the Diamond, many others will have to be addressed with clarity and scientific data that is understandable to all.
The interest in the Diamond is a constant in the general scenario, and the dynamics that are involving the sector are not necessarily negative.
We are certain that alternative dissemination initiatives to the purely commercial ones will be able to help create a new relationship between the world of diamonds and its admirers, as the new generations are demonstrating
